ReachOut helps young people feel better no matter what challenge they’re facing. But not everyone finds it easy to open up. Our task was to create a campaign that highlights the kinds of problems ReachOut helps with and encourage young people to reach out sooner.
Social media feeds hide more than they show, and it’s easy for a young person to feel like they’re the only one struggling. Our solution was to go behind the screen with a digital campaign that explores the real life issues young people worry about every day.
Shot from a device-point-of-view the campaign highlights some of the highest ranking search terms amongst young people going through a tough time, and helps normalise the issues many feel alone in facing.
Our new tagline, ‘When life doesn’t go as planned, ReachOut’, takes the judgement out of needing help and reinforces the call to action in the ReachOut brand name.
